Detailed Description​
The activity state is EXECUTING and work type is DDL (Data Definition Language) which can be any of the following.
- All ALTER statements
- All CREATE statements
- COMMENT statement
- DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE statement
- DROP statement
- FLUSH PACKAGE CACHE statement
- All GRANT statements
- REFRESH TABLE
- All RENAME statements
- All REVOKE statements
- SET INTEGRITY statement
How to reduce this wait​
Look at the DDL statements being executed. Some DDL can take a long time such as CREATE INDEX on a large table.
