Detailed Description​
The RPD operator fetches data from a remote source in a federated system. Unlike SHIP which operates on relational sources, RPD will be called for when the remote source is non-relational. The remote plan will not be inspected by the optimizer meaning that it will not know how efficient the remote operation will be.
