Sensor Status Report

The Sensor Status Report lets you view the state of your sensors over time. The status is a measure of connectivity from the DBmarlin agent to the target database. An Error status could be due to:

• The database instance or listener being down.
• A mis-configuration such as bad credentials, hostname, port etc.
• External factors like network, DNS or firewall between the DBmarlin agent and the target database.

Report output

• The grid show sensor status where the colours represent the status:
  • Red = Error
  • Green = Ok
  • Light grey = Stopped
  • Dark grey = No data but no error
  • Amber = Mixture of statuses during the period

Example report

The instances with worst health status are shown at the top.
