Improvements​

  • SQL Server can now discover Clusters and Always-on availability groups and alert on failover and AG health state. Under Advanced mode in Setting, enable Detect Availability Groups for the primary and any secondary replicas.
  • Support for Db2 DPF and Db2 Purescale.
  • Replaced HighCharts with Apache eCharts.
  • Batching inserts for the archiver.
  • Link to DBmarlin Cookbook in Help menu.
  • Alert creation screen has been improved and the drop-downs menus throughout the product.
  • SQL Serer now has a checkbox for Windows Integrated Security rather than having to edit the JDBC params.

Fixes​

  • Error deleting licenses is fixed.
  • The DLL for windows authentication now updated to match the JDBC version.

Known Issues​

  • Object statistics for Oracle may contain only partial information, such as table names, but may be missing index and column names. This can be improved by increasing oracle.jdbc.ReadTimeout in Advanced Connection Settings for the sensor.
  • If you are monitoring a server that requires TLS v1.0 or v1.1 (now obsolete), you will need to edit ./lib/security/java.security to change disabledAlgorithms and restart DBmarlin Tomcat. See this FAQ for more details.
